It's basically a simplified version of the one used for original characters, since most canon characters should have a more well known information set than a completely new character.

Of course, this isn't the only information you can put in, merely the minimum, if you wanna expand your application because you've got a real interest in the character, then feel free. I'll say that people who post a very well written character application will recieve my appreciation.
