Personality: A firm believer in justice and morals, Adam has always done his best to follow the right path in live and lead a good, honest live. His typical "goody too shoes" stance has sometimes bought him into conflict with other officers, usually high-ranked, and this has been noted to be the reason why this brilliant and talented young man has not progressed more up the ranks. He also refuses to strike down the wounded, innocent or unarmed. Even with these problems against his fellow officers he is a young man of loyalty and has always served the Earth Sphere Federation with pride. Although it was a Gundam that killed his mother and younger brother, Adam has always held a fascination and respect for these class of mobile weapons and hopes to someday get the catch to study one up close. As also being a scientist he often finds himself talking in terms that his fellow peers do not understand, which has lead him to be somewhat shy and quiet as of recently.

As Genesis Ender, he becomes a loyal follower of Aeolia Schenberg's plans and a loyal servant of VEDA. However he is not without his own uniqueness and individuality. He often a calm, cool and collected wise person who was often seen as the youngest of the three "True Innovators" however he was wise beyond his years. He has always had a respect for the cycle of life and the natural progression of life and evolution however he also believes that sometimes nature needs a helping hand. His reason for being proves his theory. He has always proved to be nothing but a thorn in the side of his "brother" Ribbons Almark but often got on well with Tieria Erde, the two only getting into debates when Genesis interfered in disagreements between Ribbons and Tieria. Although he is very loyal to most he has always been suspicious of Ribbons and thus was almost always two steps ahead of him in the game, only slipping up when Ribbons made a move to capture VEDA. Shortly before he was detained by Ribbons and his Innovator Troupe, Genesis learned and came to understand that he was not in actual fact an Innovator but rather an "Innovade", one who would facilitate the awakening of a True Innovator.

Special Characteristics: Unbeknown to himself Adam is actually genetically modified human by the name of Genesis Ender. Genesis Ender is an Innovator, a being who is completely superior to Humans. For example he is has much faster and accurate reflexs, is immune to disease and illness and his intelligence and mental capacity is way above that of the average Human brain. However only part of his much greater intelligence remains in his control following a "reprogramming" procedure by the Innovators. As with all Innovators created, either by Aeolia Schenberg or Ribbons Almark himself, he has the ability to directly connect to VEDA and make use of quantum brainwaves, be it for communications purposes or to use remote weapons. However these abilities have been "locked down" by Ribbons to ensure that his brother does not return to being an Innovator too quickly. Ribbons has ensured that his "sibling" is not without purpose or potential when being a human and left his enhanced reflexes alone and also made sure that Genesis would become a mobile suit pilot through several fake memories. As a mobile suit pilot he has become one of several aces within the Earth Sphere Federation Regulars, second only to those ace pilots in A-LAWS.

History/Background Story:

Life as Genesis

Along with Tieria Erde and Ribbons Almark, Genesis Ender is one of the three leader Innovades created by Aeolia Schenberg to serve as guides for Humanity and lead them into Innovation. Genesis was the third and last Innovade created by Schenberg, being considered the "perfected" model of the original three. This label put on him automatically gained Genesis a bad relationship with his "brother" Ribbons. Once "born" he served as the Innovator's field operative usually undertaking undercover missions in order to advanced Humanity, of course only as far as VEDA determined.

One of his most unique missions was the testing of the first ever GN Drive. Using a unit that Aeolia had dubbed the "GM" he conducted a test against several unmanned drone targets in the area of Mars. Thankfully none of the Earth nations had the ability to travel such a distance yet. His selection by VEDA to pilot the first ever GN Drive-equipped Mobile Suit only increased the bitterness that existed between Genesis himself and Ribbons. After the test was deemed a complete success the GM was locked away from the world to never be seen again. The GN Drive was transferred to the 0 Gundam with Ribbons being selected as its pilot. Genesis respected VEDA's decision and stood down from active duty until called again.

Once Tieria had left the group Genesis assumed that he was to become second-in-command of all Celestial Being operations however Ribbons introduced an Observer into the mix who he deemed was better able to carry out this task. Genesis didn't like this one bit but he found that his access to VEDA's Observer Database had been revoked. He knew that Ribbons was plotting something but he didn't have any evidence yet. He found that VEDA itself had been accessed and modified several times over with new information being written to it whilst old data was being deleted or modified to better suit whoever the hacker was. Thus Genesis began backing up VEDA's information, especially the portions on Mobile Suit Research and Development and Aeolia's Plan, to a secret location that he had setup once when he was on a deep undercover mission.

Genesis was surprised as much as the main Celestial Being team when the Throne Gundams appeared on the world stage. He had never seen their designs or role within Aeolia's Plan and determined that no doubt Ribbons Almark was behind the appearance of this second group of Gundams and their fake GN Drives. However when he confronted Ribbons the Innovator retorted that he was as surprised as Genesis himself. Not believing his brother for a second, Genesis hasted his plans to leave Ribbons and join Tieria and the main Celestial Being team. However before he knew it the United Nations had been formed and the GN-X Team was launched. Knowing Ribbons and the unknown Observer was behind this he attempted to stop his fellow Innovator only to find himself being stunned by a plasma field of a high setting.

He woke up two weeks after Operation Fallen Angels to discover that the main Celestial Being team had been defeated, the Ptolemaios destroyed and the Gundams were either severely damaged or completely destroyed. Ribbons knew that his brother would only continue to serve as a thorn in his side so he decided to remove him from his new Innovator Faction but reassured his brother that he would always be keeping a close eye on him. Genesis underwent extensive memory altercation operations so that he would forget his life as an Innovator but not so that the memories were erased. Genesis Ender was no more.

Life as Adam

Born towards the beginning of the post-Solar Wars generation, Adam was born with a twin brother, Logan Sheppard, with both being the "second" son of Arthur and Jennifer Sheppard. Arthur was a commander of a Union Fighter Wing whose plane had been shot down over Europe and was found by AEU Medic Jennifer Klein who then subsequently hid the young pilot whom she had fallen in love with at first sight. For years she tended to Arthur's every need, even after the Solar Wars had ended, and eventually the couple made a family together with the birth of their first son, Lucas. From there Arthur's origins were kept a mystery and Jennifer falsified records using her clearance code, gained from a promotion to Senior Administrator of an AEU Hospital facility.

Adam was born a fit and healthy baby as was Logan and the two were taken home within the first few weeks of their birth. As a child Adam had always been a curious one and often his parents would find he had taken something apart, such as a jigsaw or puzzle box, or that he was eying an object with particular interest. It wasn't until he started at school that it was discovered that he had an I.Q. above that of many of his peers. Due to this he was enrolled in an "fast-track" program that would aim to give him the knowledge and skills that he'd need to make a difference in the world.

At the age of 14, he graduated from the children education version of the fast-track course and was enrolled in a college version the very next day. He took particular interest in both Aerospace and Mobile Suit construction and was one of the first people recruited in secret by the AEU military to study stolen blueprints of the Union's Flag machine. This work was secretly slotted into his work and he studied the blueprints very carefully as always, refining and ironing out the problems that the AEU would have before he finally submitted what he believed was simply a college essay. Along with several hundred similar "essays" the AEU military created their pseudo-Flag unit, the AEU Enact.

During Celestial Being's armed interventions, young Adam was attending his second final year of the fast-track program. Once again his brilliance was used in secret by the AEU to study the "GUNDAMS" that Celestial Being had deployed on the front. When he first studied the pictures of the Gundams, Adam initially believed he had seen them before however he was quickly told to get on with his work by a supposedly "student" from the AEU's most prestigious academy. In actual fact this student was a member of Celestial Being himself who had been placed undercover to report back to someone concerning Adam. However the man's true identity would not be revealed to Adam himself until a much later date. However Adam's suspicions were raised when the student no longer appeared after he had handed in his essay nor had anyone ever heard of the student at the academy, the place Adam was thinking of applying to after the school year.

During an intervention by what would later be known as "Team Trinity", Adam's mother and twin were killed when the hospital facility where they were visiting, which in actual fact conducted biological warfare R&D, was destroyed by a blast from a GN High Mega Launcher. The devastation was immense and the death of his closest family relatives drove him into a severe depression. To combat this Adam signed himself up for the AEU military, now being aged 16. However he was told he'd need to complete five years of training before he would ever be deployed. Thus he resolved himself to becoming a mobile weapon pilot to avenge his mother's and twin's deaths but also to ensure that nothing like this would ever happen again. Once again it was revealed that Adam was natural at piloting and that his intelligence gave him even better control over a unit than even some ace pilots. So once again the young man entered a fast track program, this time for the military.

During his training Operation Fallen Angels was commenced using the GN Drive[T]-equipped suits of the United Nations. Their victory in that conflict paved the way for the Earth Sphere Federation that would become the main political body on Earth, with the AEU military merging with that of the Union's and the HRL. Two years later, in A.D. 2309, Adam graduated from the military's fast track program and was assigned a GN-XII Sword that would serve as a his person unit. Using the unit, Adam served in the E.S.F. military against the rebel forces that had sprung up following the formation of the Federation. Following several successfully missions against anti-government forces Adam ascended to the elite ranks of the E.S.F. pilot rosters and gradually gained more freedom from E.S.F. High Command, even gaining a special "license" to obtain by himself when par-taking in E.S.F. operations.

However unknown to any but a certain collective of people, Adam Sheppard was being watched very closely. The group who were watching him were called simply, the Innovators. Unbeknown to Adam himself, he was infact a "sleeper agent" of the organisation who had been crucial in their plans to gain control of the computer core known as VEDA. After Genesis was "reprogrammed" with false memories, he was placed in the United Nations, soon to be the Earth Sphere Federation, as "Adam Sheppard" and was given a complete falsified background, both his family history and his educational and AEU military careers, in order so that Ribbons could keep a close eye on his "brother" Innovade. With Ribbons in charge of more or less the entire Earth he began to manipulate people and organizations to suit his own needs, taking special charge of manipulating Adam's military career, ensuring that by the time Genesis has resurfaced that he will see why Ribbons is Humanity's "Savior" and why he is the leader of the Innovators.

Recently he was put forward for a position within A-LAWS however knowing he'd no longer have the same liberties as he does and also being suspicious of A-LAWS' recent operations, especially were high civilian casualties were seen, he agreed to serve as a liaison officer between A-LAWS and their regular Federation Forces counterparts. Although this was not part of Ribbons' plans he has begun to work around the problem and as ever is taking special care in manipulating Genesis' fake life from behind-the-scenes. However the lead Innovator has not yet discovered Genesis' secret vault of equipment and data with only Genesis knowing its true location, having also deleted the information from VEDA.

"Lt. Colonel, I recommend aborting the mission and waiting a few days for the zone to calm down.".

From the confines of the cockpit of his Custom GN-XIII, that snugly sit in the holding deck of the E.S.F. battleship that was being used for this mission, Lt.Colonel Adam Sheppard listened to his squad's rambling. Sure enough the target, a lone resource asteroid which had been taken by a group called "Katoran", was indeed hot for the rebel cell there had launched their own mobile forces. Adam however was as calm as anything and he silently sat with his arms folded, continuing to listen to the pleas from the regular E.S.F. Army guys to abort the mission.

He sighed, "Trust fools to be scared of a few relics. All they have are Enacts and Tierens, which could hardly move on land as it is.", he watched his right display proceed to show him schematics of the machines in question. Sure Katoran had upgraded them for space fighting however the regular Enact and Tieren had never been that well suited to space combat and the introduction of the GNX-series that rendered them as worthless to zero gee mobile suit wings. He raised an arm and reached over for his comm array, his finger flicking a single switch. There was a burst of static before the array switched over to the regular frequency, "This is Lt. Colonel Sheppard. We are continuing with the mission. You guys shouldn't worry. After all your GN-XIIIs =are much more advanced than those fossils. Just stick to the pre-discussed positions and you guys will do fine. Trust me.", he gave a reassuring smile to a pilot whose face was on his left monitor. The pilot gave a small sheepishly smile back before he closed the window.

Adam reached for his controls as the bridge reported it was time for launch. He'd asked the Captain to use the ship's GN Cannons as dispersion weapons in order to create a path for his Advanced GN-X and two GN-XIII escorts to enter and then take out the enemy mobile forces before moving to the asteroid itself. The Advance GN-X's cockpit came to life in a sequence of bright and flashing lights before on its external appearance, its chest glowed blue as did its eyes. The floor beneath the grey-blue machine dropped and proceeded to flip 180-degrees downwards. The endless black of space filled the monitors of Adam's cockpit as he surveyed the forward monitor and watched as large blasts of GN particles surged towards the asteroid. He opened his comms up again, "Alright guys, launch and get into formation A-16K. Remember you have the advantage of technology and speed. Don't get too worked up if you miss a target, just relax and take another shot. Sheppard out.", he finished as he flicked the comms off then flicked another switch and the clamps holding his unit disengaged.

The blue-hued machine floated in the depths of space for a moment before its main particle thruster came to life, followed by the particle vernier binders and then the machine shot forward, righting itself right way up and raising its right hand which held its Advanced GN Beam Rifle. Adam pulled the trigger and watched three surges of GN particle energy shoot forward and take down a single Enact. The Lt. Colonel smiled and he fired off another three-shit burst, this time taking down two Tierens, "Alright boys we have a go! All units surge forward and break through the enemy ranks. Captain Thomas, please continue with the long-range dispersion fire.", he smiled as the said-Captain gave a nod.

Hmmm... Honestly, we're sort of frowning upon the 'Amuro Ray' type, who can like pilot an MS and build one themselves.
It really depends on your actual mechanical skills, I mean a pilot could probably patch something together but couldn't do anything overly complicated to the systems.

Secondly, I'm a little unsure of the creation of your character as an Innovade. The information we have on the Innovades are that there are two basic types, a combat type and an observer type.
The combat type is the most rare, and are innovators gifted with the highest operating abilities, such as Ribbons Almark and Tieria Erde.

The observer type are Innovades that are created and sent into the world to gather data for Veda. They have no idea they are innovades, and most live normal lives until they are recalled. In most cases, the observer types are recalled and reprogrammed every ten years, so that people don't become suspicious of individuals that never age. However there have been exceptions to this, with Observation Innovades having been living in the human world for over a hundred years.
It's my specualtion that Ribbons personal Innovade Troupe (Regene, Hilling, Revive, Bring etc...) are actually observer types he has chosen to awaken and modify to his purpose. This would explain why their abilities suffer without Veda's backup, where as Ribbons own skills do not.

Also, there's the issue with Team Trinity.

According to the novelization, the Trinitys are actually the children of Ribbons Almark. Using his own genetic material, he used cloning facilities to give birth to his personal Meister troupe. After activation, they were sent to Laguna Harvey, given a spaceship, the Throne Gundams, and various secrets pertaining Celestial Being.

Although Trinity's past and origins remain a mystery in the show itself, the official Mobile Suit Gundam 00 novels state that the three siblings were created by Ribbons Almark, who used parts of his own DNA to engineer human beings with several Innovator-like traits. As a result, they are able to perform otherwise impossible tasks such as interfacing with Veda and using quantum brainwaves. But unlike the Innovades, the Trinity siblings have significantly less androgynous appearances.

Well the stuff about the Trinity Team was a just a brainwave I had. I hadn't checked up on them for a while so I didn't know but the whole deal with them and when they started operating. Although to be fair it is said that Innovators have long, long life spans so theoretically it could be possible that he had a hand in helping with the designs for the Throne Gundams.

However about the "Amuro Ray"-sterotype, he never actually build any machines. Sure he's helped in designing one (say like its armaments and what not) but he's never created one himself by scratch. The machine he test piloted was designed and built according to Schenberg's Plans to create the Gundams. As such he was selected to be the test pilot and then refinements and modifications were made to ensure the 0 Gundam was better than the prototype model. The stuff about him copying data from Veda about MS-related technologies is simply so that'd be able to a) use the technology himself against Ribbons and b) be able to develop countermeasures to the technology Ribbons will use from Veda. I can remove the part in his "Special Characteristics" about him being a skilled mechanic if that makes things better.

About his status as an Innovator then he'd be classed as a Combat Type since he is the "brother" of Ribbons Almark and Tieria Erde. In a way he is like the Solidus Snake of the three. He gained the good genes from both Ribbons and Tieria whilst gaining his own set of bad genes during "birth" and what not. He isn't prefect as he has his own faults but he was often considered to be better than Ribbons, since Ribbons generally showed to be too against serving anyone. That doesn't mean he is better though. Also for now he can't use any of his Innovator-related abilities due to the mind altering operations that Ribbons performed thus making him believe he is just an ordinary human, although he is notable smarter and has better reflexs.

Sorry for making you have to rework your bio, I like the idea of Ribbons, Tieria and Genesis being the Celestial Being 'chosen', but I think it would sort of mean there can't be further 'Leader' Innovades.

Hey no problem I don't mind re-working a profile if errors or problems exist. As for the "Leader" Innovades there could be more, just that Genesis himself wasn't at liberty to know that. Sorta of like how 343 Guilty Spark in Halo didn't know what the "Ark" actually was. As he said "compartmentalization" incase he was ever captured. Perhaps Aeolia used a similar method incase any of "his" Innovators were caught.

That might explain why Tieria wasn't aware of innovades, it could quite very well be the case.

Yeah, imo it's quite possible that is true. After all Aeolia no doubt had backup plans regarding every detail of his plan, not just the Gundams.
